Healthcare assistance

Providing access to timely and quality healthcare is one of our key priorities. UA House's services help individuals apply for Medi-Cal, get appointment to the doctor, choose or update a health plan, find affordable clinics and trusted medical providers.
Ukrainian American House, in collaboration with a wide network of partner organizations, provides assistance to families seeking housing through Affordable Housing programs. We guide them every step of the way — from filling out the application to moving into your new home.
UA House's goal is to support the young generation, which is left without an opportunity to receive proper education, and meet their needs to continue learning and receive qualifications. Thanks UA House's EDU4U program, young people and their relatives get a chance to complete their high school or college education.
Many Ukrainians have fled the war and sought safety in the United States. We are committed to supporting them by providing consultations on a wide range of topics — from completing paperwork and obtaining a driver’s license to accessing social benefits and other essential services.
We host events to bring together members of the local community who are going through difficult times. Our goal is to bring them hope, support, and the chance to connect with others facing similar challenges. These events provide helpful resources, personal consultations, new connections, complimentary food and drinks, and engaging activities for all ages.
Our mission is to introduce Ukraine's diverse and beautiful culture to American and Slavic communities. We host various events such as fairs, concerts, and contests to embrace Ukrainian traditions and culture. Every year we organize a Ukrainian Fair - an all-day festival filled with fun activities for the whole family! We aim to unite people, businesses, and organizations from around the world to support Ukraine.
Ukrainian American House is focused on fostering relationships between Ukraine and the United States. Through networking, exchanging knowledge and experience, and advocacy efforts, UAH is creating an environment for unification. Our goal is to promote business growth and improve relations to stimulate the economy in both countries.

Ukraine’s Independence Day Brings an Inspiring Evening of Culture and Unity to California’s Capital.

On August 24, the center of Sacramento once again became a place of solidarity and cultural pride as the Ukrainian American House, in partnership with the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco, hosted a vibrant celebration of Ukraine’s Independence Day. This year’s gathering transformed downtown into a vibrant showcase of unity, resilience, and cultural pride, bringing together hundreds of community members, civic leaders, and friends of Ukraine for an extraordinary evening of music, tradition, and solidarity. The celebration reached a powerful crescendo as the State Capitol dome was illuminated in Ukraine’s national colors of yellow and blue. Distinguished Guests Alongside performances by local artists, the program welcomed a number of distinguished guests and leaders, including Major General Matthew P. Beevers of the California National Guard; Dmytro Kushneruk, Consul General of Ukraine in San Francisco; Karina Talamantes, Vice Mayor of Sacramento; Mykhailo Tkach, renowned Ukrainian investigative journalist; Nadiia Khomaziuk, Executive Director of the U.S.–Ukraine Business Council, and Pastor Greg Fairrington of Destiny Church Rocklin, who led a touching prayer for Ukraine. A special moment was the heartfelt speech of Ukrainian hero who is currently in the U.S. for prosthetics. Guests were also deeply moved by a special video message from the President Zelenskyy of Ukraine, which underscored the nation’s resilience and gratitude for global support. Music, Culture, and Celebration The celebration featured authentic Ukrainian food, family-friendly activities, dance groups, and live performances. The program reached its climax with the electrifying performance by KAZKA Band — a fan-favorite Ukrainian music group that filled the evening with energy and unforgettable emotions. Gratitude to Our Partners UA House expresses its sincere gratitude to all partners whose support made this event possible including but not limited to Anthem Blue Cross Medi-Cal, SMUD, USKO Express, Inc., MISI Community Solutions, Ukrainian Federal Credit Union, USKO Realty, and Advanced Early Childhood Education. Media Coverage We extend our heartfelt thanks to the local media ABC 10, CBS News, KCRA 3, and The Sacramento Bee —for amplifying our voices and helping share Ukraine’s story with the broader California community. Their coverage not only celebrated cultural diversity but also ensured that Ukraine’s ongoing pursuit of peace and justice reaches wider audiences. One Family, Wherever We Are From inspiring speeches to the laughter of children, from heartfelt prayers to unforgettable music, the Ukrainian American House once again brought together the Ukrainian American community, friends, and allies in a shared celebration of freedom, cultural heritage, and hope for the future.
