Free Citizenship Preparation Support for Green Card Holders

Ukrainian Green Card holders preparing for U.S. citizenship can now receive free one-on-one online support with English practice, citizenship test preparation, and mock interviews through a new Welcome.US program.

Becoming a U.S. citizen is an important milestone, and Ukrainian American House is pleased to share a valuable opportunity from our partner, Welcome.US, designed to help lawful permanent residents prepare for the U.S. citizenship process.

Beginning June 29, Welcome.US is launching a free online citizenship preparation program that connects eligible participants with trained volunteers for personalized, one-on-one support.

Participants can receive help with:

  • English conversation practice;
  • U.S. citizenship test preparation;
  • Mock citizenship interviews.

The program is flexible, free of charge, and tailored to each participant’s individual goals and needs.

Who is eligible?

You may participate if you:

  • Are 18 years of age or older;
  • Are a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder);
  • Have basic English language skills.

If you or someone you know is preparing to become a U.S. citizen, we encourage you to take advantage of this excellent opportunity. Having personalized guidance and practice can make the citizenship process more manageable and increase your confidence as you prepare for the exam and interview.
