UA House Hosted a Joyful Easter Party for Families in the Community

UA House recently hosted a vibrant Easter Party that brought together more than 40 children and their families for a day filled with joy, connection, and meaningful experiences.

The event took place outdoors in a green park setting, where children had the opportunity to enjoy fresh air, open space, and a welcoming community atmosphere. From the very beginning, the park was filled with laughter, excitement, and the energy of children eager to take part in the activities prepared for them.

A highlight of the day was the much-anticipated Easter egg hunt, where children enthusiastically searched for hidden eggs across the park. In addition, participants enjoyed a variety of outdoor games, relay races, and interactive activities designed to encourage teamwork, movement, and social engagement. The event created a space where children could not only have fun but also build new friendships and feel part of a supportive community.

At the same time, UA House ensured that the event offered value for parents as well. While children were engaged in activities, parents had the opportunity to participate in a dedicated informational session focused on raising children in a new country. The discussion addressed important topics such as adaptation challenges, cultural differences, and ways to support children’s emotional well-being and development. This component of the event provided parents with practical insights and a space for reflection and connection.

💬 “This event came at just the right time for our family,” shared Tetiana, who attended with her two children. “It created such a warm and festive pre-Easter atmosphere. My kids had a chance to make new friends and reconnect with familiar faces, which means a lot to us. And for me personally, UA House events always bring real, practical value — I learned useful things about adapting to life in the U.S. that I can actually apply.”

This Easter Party was organized as part of UA House’s ongoing educational program aimed at supporting families as they navigate life in the United States. Through events like this, UA House continues to create opportunities for both children and parents to grow, connect, and feel supported.

The event was made possible thanks to the generous support of UA House’s partners, including PHI, UC San Diego. Their collaboration plays an important role in expanding access to community-based programs and services for families.

UA House remains committed to building a strong, connected, and resilient community by creating spaces where families can come together, share experiences, and move forward with confidence.
