Join this family- and youth-oriented community event to receive helpful services, valuable resources, and practical information to support your journey and successful integration in the U.S.
Guests will have the opportunity to:
• receive a consultation from an immigration attorney
• connect with the local Ukrainian community
• participate in activities for families, children, and teens
• enjoy traditional Ukrainian borscht and warm community fellowship
• enter a giveaway for one of 10 laptops provided by event partners Ukrainian American House and Skylex
At this event, Ukrainian American House will also provide several community support services:
👥 As part of the Domestic Violence Prevention Program, individuals and families will have access to confidential peer support and mental wellness sessions offering guidance, emotional support, helpful resources, and a safe space to be heard.
👥 Additional mental health support opportunities will be available for those navigating stress, transition, and adaptation to life in the United States.
👥 Teenagers and youth are invited to participate in a special interactive session focused on digital safety, online communication, social media awareness, and challenges of today’s internet environment.
👥 Children will enjoy creative activities and Mother’s Day card-making crafts in a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.

Yarmarka Multicultural Festival
The event draws in thousands of attendees and offers a range of activities, such as trade shows, consultations, master classes by famous stylists/makeup artists, raffle prizes, and more. The festival is held annually and will celebrate its 23th year on May 18, 2024, at Downtown Sacramento’s Southside Park. This family-oriented, multicultural event brings together over a dozen ethnic groups from the greater Sacramento area.
