UA House Hosted an Online College Preparation Workshop for Parents

Ukrainian American House, in partnership with Twin Rivers School District, recently hosted an online workshop for parents focused on how to begin preparing children for college as early as possible.

The session was led by Olivia Babin, an experienced education expert and university admissions leader, who shared practical insights, key strategies, and important considerations for parents supporting their children’s academic journey. The workshop covered essential milestones, decision-making processes, and actionable steps that can help students move toward college with confidence and clarity.

The event generated strong engagement, with participants actively asking questions and receiving relevant, practical guidance tailored to real-life situations. The interactive format allowed parents to better understand the U.S. education system and how to take a proactive approach to their child’s future.

The online format proved to be both accessible and effective, enabling families to join from different locations and receive personalized answers to their specific questions.

Ukrainian American House continues to expand its educational initiatives and will be hosting additional workshops in the near future. The next session is scheduled for May 1, and will continue to provide valuable resources and guidance for families.
