Ukrainian American House hosted a warm and truly family-centered gathering “Season of Gratitude"
Thanks to the partnership and financial support of CDSS, we were able to host this event and provide meaningful assistance to recently arrived Ukrainians in the United States. The gathering offered families an opportunity to learn about the traditions of Thanksgiving Day, connect with the local community, and feel welcomed in their new home.
We invited our clients and friends to come together and begin this special time ahead of Thanksgiving Day. In a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, we shared meaningful conversations, personal stories, and words of encouragement. We reflected on the power of gratitude — the force that unites us, inspires us, and gives us strength to move forward.
At the end of the evening, each family received a free turkey for their holiday table. Our goal was to ensure that every family felt care, dignity, and the support of the Ukrainian community as they begin their new chapter in America.
We sincerely thank everyone who joined us and our partners who made this event possible.
