Building Stronger Communities Through Partnership

Ukrainian American House was proud to participate in the World Refugee & Immigrant Heritage Month Community Celebration Fair—a special event that brought together community organizations, service providers, families, and local residents to celebrate diversity while connecting refugees and immigrants with valuable resources and opportunities.

At UA House, we believe that meaningful partnerships are one of the most effective ways to expand our impact. By collaborating with other community-focused organizations, we can reach more families, connect with those who may benefit from our services, and strengthen the network of support available to newcomers throughout our region.

Throughout the event, our team had the opportunity to introduce visitors to the wide range of programs and services offered by Ukrainian American House, including support with education, employment, healthcare navigation, housing, youth and family programs, public benefits, and community integration. We also established new connections with partner organizations that share our commitment to helping refugee and immigrant families build successful lives in the United States.

One of the highlights of the celebration was a children’s soccer tournament, held in the spirit of the excitement surrounding this year’s FIFA World Cup. The tournament brought young people together through teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun while creating an engaging atmosphere for families throughout the day.

Events like the World Refugee & Immigrant Heritage Month Community Celebration Fair remind us that building strong, resilient communities requires collaboration. When organizations come together, we create more opportunities, share valuable resources, and ensure that every family knows where to turn for support.

Ukrainian American House is grateful to the event organizers, partner organizations, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by our booth. We look forward to continuing to build new partnerships and expanding our impact across the communities we serve.
