Celebrating Future Leaders While Bringing the Community Together

This Ukrainian Kolo became a special moment of recognition for the participants of the Youth Engagement for Success (YES) Program. Surrounded by family, friends, and community members, these young people celebrated the completion of an important chapter in their journey toward leadership, personal growth, and future success, receiving certificates, awards, and well-deserved recognition for their commitment and achievements.

The future of our community is shaped by the young people who are willing to dream bigger, explore new opportunities, and take meaningful steps toward their goals.

During this month’s Ukrainian Kolo, Ukrainian American House proudly recognized participants of the Youth Engagement for Success (YES) Program, celebrating the dedication, growth, and achievements they demonstrated throughout the program.

Over the past several months, YES participants have engaged in educational workshops, leadership development activities, career exploration experiences, and community-building events designed to help them better understand their strengths, interests, and future opportunities.

One of the highlights of the program was an educational trip to Silicon Valley, where participants visited Stanford University, Google, Apple, and other innovation-focused destinations. The experience provided young people with firsthand exposure to environments where ideas become innovations and where future careers are shaped.

As part of the recognition ceremony, participants received certificates, awards, commemorative photos, and special gifts acknowledging their commitment to personal growth, leadership development, and future planning.

Parents also shared positive feedback about the program, highlighting increased confidence, motivation, curiosity, and engagement among participating youth.

The YES Program is built on a simple belief: when young people are given opportunities, mentorship, and encouragement, they gain the confidence to envision a brighter future and the tools needed to pursue it.

Ukrainian American House extends its sincere congratulations to all YES participants and looks forward to continuing this important work by creating even more opportunities for youth leadership, career exploration, and personal growth.

Together, we are helping build the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers.
