Project need $600,000

The main idea of the project is to evacuate and meet the essential needs of the less protected ones for the period of the war: orphan kids, kids deprived of parental custody and care and kids in complicated life circumstances. The mission of this project is to save children’s lives, to preserve their physical and mental health for the period of war in Ukraine.

Your donation will be income to the “Ukrainian American House” that has registered 501(с) 3 non-profit organisation. No administration fee. 100% of fund goes to the project.

The full-scale armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine, which started on 24 February 2022, has led to many deaths among Ukrainian citizens, including children, and a lot of devastation of civilian infrastructure. In this regard, the Ukrainian Government is evacuating children from the most dangerous areas where ground fighting takes place or the threat of air raids is high. Orphans are the immediate focus of attention of our efforts.

UA House has partnered with a Ukrainian charity organization in Turkey that has launched a large project aimed at rescuing and evacuating orphans, children deprived of parental care, children under foster care together with accompanying foster parents, and orphanage caregivers to a safe place in the Republic of Turkey as well as providing for meeting their essential needs during their stay abroad.

This project is supported by the Turkish Government and sponsored by some philanthropists, humanitarian foundations, and businesses. Thanks to joint efforts, 1427 children and 664 accompanying persons were transferred from Ukraine to Turkey. Some children who we are assisting have various disabilities (vision and hearing impairments, limited mobility).

The cost of a monthly allowance for each kid is $360. This sum includes hotel accommodation, food and water, medical insurance, education and entertainment, utilities and other essential needs. In order to cover needed expenses we are raising $600,000.

We are trying to save as many children's lives as possible. Extended help gives us the possibility to evacuate, accommodate and provide for the needs of more children. We pray that russia's war against Ukraine finishes as soon as possible. However, we envisage that these children will remain in Turkey till the end of the war.
