Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco and Ukrainian American House joint initiative "Share the Light" to address the energy crisis in Ukraine
Problem
Due to Russian rocket attacks, 80% of Ukraine's regions are in a deep energy crisis. With the onset of winter in Ukraine, millions of Ukrainians are left without constant access to heat, electricity and proper water supply in sub-zero temperatures.
Solution
To address this problem, the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco, together with the Ukrainian American House non-profit organization, is launching the "Share the Light" charitable initiative.
We are launching a fundraiser for 500 generators, which will help to run “Hubs of Invincibility” – relief and heat centers in Ukraine, a project of the Office of the President.

About the Project
The Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco, together with the Ukrainian American House non-profit organization, are launching the charity initiative "Share the Light", the purpose of which is to unite the efforts of citizens, businesses, charitable organizations, trade unions, academic institutions and the community of the US West Coast and Mountain states to overcome the energy crisis in Ukraine. We are starting with 500 generators, but Ukraine also needs help with other energy equipment. Ukrainian energy companies are working tirelessly to repair damaged infrastructure, often just hours after military activity has ceased. This work needs equipment, fuel, tools and materials, which Ukraine lacks. That is why donations of emergency energy equipment are needed now more than ever.
On behalf of the people and government of Ukraine, we would like to request assistance in providing the necessary power equipment to help the people of Ukraine to withstand this barbarian threat and be able to maintain the normal functioning of the critical infrastructure in these difficult times.
