The Financial Stability Workshop is part of the Domestic Violence Prevention Series organized by UA House, with support from CDSS.
This session is designed to help individuals understand how financial awareness and independence can play a critical role in preventing vulnerable situations. Financial dependency is often one of the factors that can limit choices and make it harder to seek support or leave unsafe environments.
During this event, participants will learn the basics of managing personal finances, building financial confidence, and creating a foundation for long-term stability. The goal is to provide practical knowledge that empowers individuals to make informed decisions and feel more secure in their everyday lives.
This event is part of a broader initiative by UA House aimed at raising awareness, providing support, and helping individuals better navigate challenging situations. Through this series, we strive to create a safe and informative space where community members can gain tools, knowledge, and confidence to protect themselves and move forward.
Whether you are looking to strengthen your financial independence or simply want to better understand how to build a more stable future, this session is designed to support you.
The Domestic Violence Prevention Series is implemented by UA House with the support of our long-term partner, CDSS (California Department of Social Services).
