About Event
The annual Ukrainian Independence Day celebration in Sacramento offers a vibrant tribute to Ukrainian identity, unity, and cultural resilience. This meaningful evening brings together community members of all ages to show solidarity with Ukraine in its ongoing fight for independence and freedom — and with Ukrainians around the world — while celebrating music, tradition, and connection.
Guests will experience a rich tapestry of Ukrainian culture through food, live performances, and interactive activities. Resource tents and community booths will provide opportunities to learn about civic initiatives and connect with both local and international organizations.
The program will feature formal remarks, national anthems, and interfaith moments of reflection, concluding with a powerful mainstage performance by KAZKA — a globally recognized Ukrainian band known for its unique electro-folk-pop sound and its cultural advocacy during the war.
