On February 5, Ukrainian American House hosted a special informational workshop dedicated to first-time homebuyer opportunities for newly arrived Ukrainian families.

The event focused on California’s Dream For All program and provided practical, step-by-step guidance for those considering purchasing their first home in the United States.

Practical Guidance for a Major Life Step

The workshop was organized in partnership with USKO Realty, whose experienced brokers delivered a comprehensive overview of:

  • The Dream For All program
  • Eligibility requirements
  • Financial considerations
  • The application process
  • Key steps from submission to closing

Participants received clear, structured guidance on how to move confidently from submitting an application to successfully purchasing their first home.

For many families, homeownership represents more than a transaction — it is a foundation for stability, long-term planning, and a sense of belonging in a new country.

Partnership That Expands Opportunities

We are grateful for our collaboration with SDSS and USKO Realty, whose expertise and commitment allow us to expand access to meaningful resources for the families we serve.

Through joint efforts, we continue building practical pathways toward stability, independence, and long-term integration for Ukrainian newcomers in California.

Supporting families in achieving the dream of homeownership is one of the ways we help transform new beginnings into lasting foundations.
